Welcome to Juniper Beach Candle Co.! I’m Alyssa Stirpe, the founder and creator behind our eco-friendly, beach-inspired candles.
My love for the Washington Coast began in childhood, spending summers at my family’s beach cabin on Juniper Beach—a hidden oasis where the tides, salty breeze, and serene landscapes shaped my deep appreciation for nature. Those cherished memories now inspire each hand-poured candle, designed to bring the tranquility of the shoreline into your home.
With a background as a registered nurse, I’ve always prioritized health and well-being. After becoming a stay-at-home mom to my two wonderful sons, I sought a creative outlet that aligned with my values. This passion led me to create sustainable, clean-burning candles, crafted with eco-friendly ingredients for a healthier home and planet.

Organic Hemp Wicks

Our hemp candle labels are made from recycled materials and processed without chlorine, making them a truly eco-conscious choice.
Each label design is one-of-a-kind and thoughtfully crafted in-house, reflecting the artisanal care and attention to detail behind every candle. Built for both durability and sustainability, our labels are freezer and microwave-safe, with a refined, textured finish that adds a touch of sophistication to each jar.
When it’s time to repurpose your candle jar, simply soak it in warm, soapy water for a few minutes to loosen the label, then gently peel it off. Any remaining adhesive can be easily removed with a bit of baking soda and oil—leaving your jar clean, smooth, and ready for its next life.

All of our Candle Care Cards, Gift Tags, and Refill & Renew program materials are thoughtfully designed, printed, and folded in-house using premium hemp stock paper—made from 90% post-consumer waste and 10% hemp fibers—for an ideal blend of quality and sustainability.
Crafted from acid-free, lignin-free, and carbon-free materials, our paper ensures durability and long-term preservation. Responsibly sourced from FSC-certified forests, it supports our commitment to environmentally conscious production every step of the way.

Our packaging reflects our deep commitment to sustainability. We use kraft paper boxes and crinkle paper, thoughtfully crafted from recycled materials to help preserve forests and reduce landfill waste. Naturally biodegradable and compostable, kraft paper returns to the earth without harm, while its lightweight nature minimizes transportation emissions.
To secure each candle box, we use rustic burlap twine—an eco-friendly, plastic-free alternative that adds both charm and sustainability to our packaging. By choosing these conscious materials, we create packaging that not only protects your products but also nurtures the planet—one thoughtful choice at a time.
